An auxiliary police officer directing traffic at a suburban Columbus Day parade was hurt by an out-of-control SUV. The Journal News says the SUV was carrying the Tuckahoe-Eastchester Lions Club banner in the parade when it hit three parked cars on Dempsey Place in Eastchester on Sunday.
