Tuckahoe Board Of Education Poised To Adopt Schools Budget

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. After tinkering and modifying the upcoming schools budget, the Tuckahoe Board of Education has proposed a $32 million spending plan that is set to be adopted next week before being put to a public vote. Superintendent Barbara Nuzzi presented an amended $32,010,535 plan to the board, marking a budget-to-budget increase of 1.09 percent and a tax levy increase of 1.71 percent, under the state cap.
