EASTCHESTER, N.Y. After spending several months finalizing the upcoming school budget, the Eastchester Board of Education has proposed a near $80 million spending plan that will be put to a public vote next months. Superintendent Walter Moran presented a $79,979,258 plan to the board, marking a budget-to-budget increase of 2.4 percent and a maximum allowable tax levy increase of 1.7 percent.
