Eastchester auxiliary officer struck by SUV at Columbus Day Parade

It happened on Dempsey Place and Main Street shortly before 4 p.m. Officials say the SUV hit three vehicles before striking an auxiliary police officer who was directing traffic for the town's annual Columbus Day Parade.
