Eastchester Dad Reportedly Waives Hearing In Crash To Protect Daughter

An Eastchester father whose 15-year-old daughter was charged in a Pennsylvania automobile accident that killed three teenage boys agreed this week to waive an evidentiary hearing in the case so the teen would not have to testify, according to a report on LoHud.com. Michael Ware, 53, faces felony charges for letting his unlicensed daughter drive his vehicle, a Chevrolet Suburban, on Aug. 30 in Paupack Township in the Pocono Mountain region of Pennsylvania.

Bronxville Schools To Operate On Normal Schedule Wednesday

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. All Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville schools will open and operate on their regular schedules on Wednesday as the cleanup from the snowstorm continues. After the "potentially historic" super snowstorm fell well short of expectations, and after conferring with various highway departments, district officials have determined that the roads will be safe enough to transport students to school.

Bronxville Remains In State Of Emergency Tuesday Morning

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. Although Bronxville wasn't hit as hard as expected by the Nor'easter, the village remains in an emergency state, with unnecessary travel prohibited. 18-24 Inches Of Snow Now Possible In Eastchester; Blizzard Warning Issued

A potentially historic storm is approaching Westchester County with some snow possibly starting as early as Monday morning with the heaviest snow and winds expected Monday night through Tuesday with a Blizzard Warning issued by the National Weather Service. Westchester could see a total of 18-24 inches with the Nor'easter expected to bring the area to a standstill throughout the day and evening Tuesday.

Kensington Road Project Hits Another Snag In Bronxville

Andrew Cuomo's Anti-Poverty Opportunity Agenda, a 10-point plan to combat poverty and fight inequality is a proposal to raise the minimum wage to $10.50 an hour everywhere in New York state .
